Sun rays reaching through water, mingling with soil at the lake bottom, swirling and reaching back toward my eyes in brilliant water color!

Seen once and never again, fleeting movements of green and gold and sage, brown, black, yellow and opal.

Only when we see water for what it truly is can we take action to keep the color for ourselves; keep water quality for fish, birds and other wildlife.

Water is about much more than laundry, car washing, lawn watering, and even drinking!

Every drop of water feeds everyone from insects and fish to forest plants and trees. Every action we take on a moment-to-moment basis impacts water.

Every time we flip on a light, every mile we drive, every bite of food we take, every purchase of packaged products - all of these actions and many more - impact water quality and quantity.
